Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and strategic Finance Manager to lead our finance function, reporting directly to the Executive Director. The role will oversee day-to-day finance operations, statutory compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting, supported by administrative staff and an outsourced accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full spectrum of finance operations, including AP, AR, GL, and cash flow management.
- Oversee the work of administrative staff and outsourced accountant to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for review.
- Develop annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including audits, tax filings, and regulatory submissions.
- Maintain and enhance the accounting system ( SAGE ) for efficient financial processes.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee grant applications, funding utilisation, and reporting to relevant agencies.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, preferably in non-profit or SME environments.
- Proficient in SAGE or similar accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lead a small team and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
