BMX Pte Ltd is a fast-growing Singapore-based startup specializing in cutting-edge mobile accessories — from solid-state battery packs to USB-C chargers, micro SSDs, and Apple FindMy-enabled products. With production operations in China and sales/marketing teams in the US, BMX is building a global presence in consumer electronics.
We are looking for a Finance & Operations Manager to join our core team and take ownership of the company’s accounting, financial management, ERP (Odoo) administration, and inventory planning. This is a key role that ensures smooth financial and operational execution as we scale internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Finance
Manage all aspects of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual).
Ensure compliance with Singapore tax, accounting, and statutory requirements.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Oversee accounts payable/receivable, banking, and payment processing. - ERP (Odoo) Management
Serve as the internal lead for Odoo ERP — finance, inventory, and sales modules.
Customize and optimize Odoo workflows to support business needs.
Train and support team members in Odoo usage. - Inventory & Operations
Coordinate with China production partner on inventory planning and supply chain needs.
Monitor stock levels, shipments, and fulfillment processes.
Build efficient systems for inventory forecasting and demand planning. - Cross-Border Collaboration
Work closely with the Singapore HQ, China factory partner, and US-based sales/marketing team.
Consolidate financial and operational data across regions for leadership reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting/finance, ideally with exposure to inventory-driven businesses.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, tax compliance, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred) .
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Startup mindset — proactive, resourceful, and comfortable wearing multiple hats.
Nice to Have
- Experience in consumer electronics, e-commerce, or cross-border trade.
- Familiarity with international tax/accounting concepts (China/US exposure).
- Previous experience setting up or scaling financial systems for a startup.
