The Opportunity:
As the Fisher Investments Singapore (FIS) Service Desk Specialist, you will report to the Vice President of End User Support to provide in-depth desktop support to FIS and its employees. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex PC and network problems.
The Day-to-Day:
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 support to end-users efficiently and effectively
- Perform installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of end-user software and hardware
- Establish network connectivity and hardware and software configuration
- Support third-party software applications
- Track, resolve, and escalate all incidents and requests in ServiceNow
- Execute physical end-user inter- and intra- office relocation services
- Responsible for software pushes and desktop imaging
- Help develop and improve the Service Desk's efficiency and customer service rating
- Order equipment and services for employee business usage
- Provide a prompt response to user requests for information and assists in application system problem resolution
- May assist with translation services
Your Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of experience in IT and Infrastructure and Operations
- A+ Certification
- Expertise in Problem Management, Incident Management, Configuration Management, and the overall Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
- Demonstrated success in decision-making and troubleshooting
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in business English
- A University degree, technical certifications, or combination of education and hands-on experience required
