The Role
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our early product team on a 6-month contract basis. You'll work closely with the Lead Full-Stack Developer and Product Manager to implement intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that bring our conversational AI experience to life. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building from the ground up and thrives in a fast-moving startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive and accessible interfaces using React/Next.js and TypeScript
- Integrate frontend interfaces with REST/GraphQL APIs
- Implement component libraries and UI frameworks to speed up development and ensure design consistency
- Optimize performance and maintain high standards of usability
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend development best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development
- Proficiency in React , Next.js , and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs , modern frontend tooling, and responsive design principles
- Experience with Git, testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library), and CI/CD tools
- Strong attention to detail and user experience
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience working on enterprise SaaS platforms
- Familiarity with Azure , particularly API Management and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to 3D or animation frameworks (e.g., Three.js)
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimization
- Interest in conversational interfaces or virtual agents
