At Project SMILE (PS) , we believe that everyone deserves dignity, purpose, and connection—especially women from low-income backgrounds and those over 50. As a trusted, volunteer-led nonprofit with IPC status, we’ve empowered over 300 women and their families through emotional support, skills development, and community engagement.
We’re now growing into our next chapter—expanding our reach, deepening our programmes, and strengthening our team.

Your work will help bring in essential resources, build community support, and ensure our programs reach those who need them most. What You’ll Do
Fundraising & Donor Engagement
- Plan and implement creative fundraising campaigns
- Manage and grow donor databases and communication
- Draft donor proposals, thank-you notes, and reports
- Support the organization of donor appreciation events
- Identify and apply for grants and funding opportunities
Social Media & Content Creation
- Manage and grow our presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
- Create content: posts, videos, reels, graphics (using Canva or similar)
- Update the website and blog with fresh, engaging stories
- Analyse campaign performance and improve engagement
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work with program staff to gather stories and visuals
- Support volunteer engagement campaigns
- Assist in drafting newsletters and the annual report

What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Skills & Qualities
- 1–3 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, or communications
- Excellent writing and visual storytelling skills
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and content trends
- Basic design skills (e.g. Canva)
- Independent, proactive, and detail-oriented
Bonus Points
- Experience working in a nonprofit or community-based organization
- Familiarity with donor CRM tools or email marketing software
- Prior success in running fundraising or social campaigns
