Job Objectives:-
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire hotel operation to ensure all departments function efficiently and cohesively. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service, executing the hotel’s strategic business plan, and driving overall profitability. The General Manager leads budget planning and financial oversight, while fostering a high-performance culture among staff. Through strong leadership and operational expertise, the General Manager ensures the hotel consistently meets its service standards and business objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
- Champion the promotion and preservation of the Dusit brand, ensuring every guest experience reflects our signature gracious hospitality.
- Lead the hotel to achieve “best in class” customer satisfaction scores through exceptional service and operational excellence.
- Represent the management company’s best interests while maintaining a professional and collaborative relationship with property owners.
- Fully embrace and cascade the Dusit Culture—our vision, mission, and values—across all departments.
- Drive revenue growth by maximizing direct bookings and implementing strategic sales initiatives.
- Deliver strong commercial results, including achieving a Revenue Generation Index (RGI) above 100 within the competitive set.
- Communicate effectively with guests, clients, business partners, and staff to foster trust and collaboration. Engage with the local community by participating in and supporting community projects, enhancing the hotel’s image and building lasting relationships with local stakeholders and potential guests.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 8-10 years of hotel management experience in a similar capacity, preferably within a 5-star environment.
- Proven expertise in key hotel operations, including Rooms Division and Food & Beverage; experience in Sales and Revenue Management is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- A positive attitude toward challenges and a strong drive to excel.
- Professional disposition with outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills.
