About us

Dyson is a global technology enterprise. We solve the problems others choose to ignore, with surprising new inventions that defy convention and simply work better. We’re driven by progress and thrive on the challenge of relentless improvement. We’re growing fast and our ambition is huge – more categories, more locations and more people.

Our scale and rapid growth make Dyson rich in new opportunities. We value new ideas and diverse perspectives, so our people are trusted with real work and responsibility from the outset. You’ll develop fast and have the chance to move into different business areas and regions. And you’ll be part of a global network of like-minded people – a community that supports and learns from each other.

When you design unconventional and smarter products, you need an unconventional and smarter supply chain. Our Global Supply Chain team works across Dyson, supporting our Research Design and Development (RDD) and our business Categories. Whichever part of our business you’re supporting, you’ll be playing a vital role in strategic decision making, affecting the design of our machines and the growth ambitions of the business.

About the role

Our Global Supply Chain interns are ambitious, resilient and tenacious.

During the programme, you’ll need to demonstrate quick learning and adaptability, and you’ll need to be able to balance the demands of work and study alongside each other. You can expect big responsibility and plenty of autonomy. However, you’ll be supported with a development framework, enabling professional growth, training and opportunities to hone your skills and evolve your knowledge.

Our business functions include: Global Outsourced Operations, Logistics and Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Energy Storage as well as IBP and Digital Transformation.

About you

You will be contributing to the delivery of the next generation of Dyson technology, so you will need to be:

  • Working towards a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Analytics, Supply Chain or related disciplines and in your penultimate year.

  • Able to demonstrate how you have applied your technical knowledge and skills (financial, analytical and numerical skills) to solve problems, either through your university projects or past internship experience.

  • Committed to learning about global supply chain and how our business operates.

  • Happy to build your own networks to collaborate and learn from the experts around you.

  • Professional and articulate to actively participate in discussions.

  • Passionate about Dyson and our technology to help us meet our ambitious future.

Working for us

Join our internship programme to jumpstart your career. We look to offer selected high-performing interns an opportunity to return on our graduate programme.

Dyson is an equal opportunity employer. We know that great minds don’t think alike, and it takes all kinds of minds to make our technology so unique. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and employment decisions are made without regard to race, colour, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, protected veteran status or other any other dimension of diversity.
