As the Head of the Digital Marketing business, you will be the key player to drive this transformation for UNIQLO ASEAN countries. You will be required to work across departments to understand the full scope of the retail business of UNIQLO and from there, initiate strategies that will build a solid foundation and allow for continued expansion
The Marketing Department is our key external channel to display the range and functions of our apparel. Products like “HEATTECH” and “AIRISM” is currently synonymous with the life in ASEAN countries be it for daily wear or for travelling purposes. This is the result of the efforts of our marketing strategies in the last 10 years.
The e-commerce platform is also the key marketing channel for the company. It will have to deliver the best in class with regards to information and service to our customers. It is our digital flagship store and customers will enjoy the same UNIQLO experience when they visit our stores.
This role requires you to work closely with our regional departments to reform business processes and revolutionize our supply chain so that we can rapidly respond to the needs of our customers.
Finally, as we embark on the path in the next 10, 20 years in ASEAN, you will be required to groom and develop the next generation of Digital Marketing professionals and build a strong team to meet our customer’s needs.
This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing in ASEAN and Chief Executive Officer of UNIQLO ASEAN CEO.
Detailed Job Description:
To lead the marketing team (DMK/Product Marketing/PR/CRM) and to drive the marketing business by analyzing market situation, build and maintain strong CR, develop brand strategies and activities which will help to achieve business objectives within the scope of Company Compliance and Profit and Loss targets.
1. Develop brand strategy which is aligned with Company desired brand positioning.
- Strong understanding and insight of consumers and to develop brand strategies
- Strategize and develop annual marketing activities (ATL and BTL) for both the EC platform and product/in store marketing. This includes a long-term vision to elevate UNIQLO Brand to the next stage
- Optimize business ROI by accurate planning and execution in quarterly and monthly level and with efficient communication between Brand marketing and Store Operations, E-commerce Teams Engage and work with regional Directors at Global Headquarters to ensure consistent messaging and compliance
2. Manage and optimize sales tracking data, driving traffic into stores and increase customer base.
- Ensure accurate forecasting based on in-market trends, sell-out performance, and marketing activities
- Coordinate inputs from Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Product etc.
3. Cross Team communication and Enhance People Development
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain good relationships and collaboration.
- Lead and feedback team members to enhance people development and create a learning team.
- Develop talent who can lead digital marketing in ASEAN through hands-on training.
Requirements
- Strong passion for the UNIQLO Brand.
- Proven track record with at least 10 years of experience in a related Digital Marketing Capacity dealing with Apparel or FMCG products
- Strong sense of responsibility and interest in the retail industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to manage the guide others in a team environment
- Experienced in communicating with internal senior management and external business partners
- Positive attitude to improve/develop own skills and professional mindset
- Basic understanding of UI/UX, inventory and logistics management.
