Key Responsibilities
- Health & Safety Compliance
Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety laws and company policies.
Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions. - Training & Awareness
Provide safety induction and ongoing training for employees and contractors.
Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization. - Documentation & Reporting
Maintain HSE records, such as incident reports, safety meeting minutes, and inspection checklists.
Prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities. - Emergency Preparedness
Develop and implement emergency response plans.
Coordinate drills and exercises (fire drills, evacuation procedures, etc.). - Environmental Management
Monitor waste disposal, emissions, and other environmental aspects.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Risk assessment and incident investigation skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
