Responsibilities
- Manage the sales process, from the sales proposal to the receipt of the sales order.
- Process all customer quotes in your portfolio by making competitive and clear business proposals.
- Ensure quotes meet customer requirements.
- Source products by finding suitable solutions and enter the contractual prices of suppliers into ERP.
- Be proactive in proposing alternatives and in upselling.
- Be proactive in informing customers about delivery delays impacting their supply chain.
- Report all recurring issues with customers to the Business Development Manager and/or the Sales Director.
- Transmit customers' forecast consumption and restocking proposals to the purchasing department and/or product manager.
- Support other team members in the event of an overload of work as defined by the Sales Manager.
- Maintain an up-to-date customer contact database.
- Follow up on quotes on a regular basis.
- Participate in business meetings and share information on the various ongoing projects.
- Provide basic technical support to the customer.
- Manage customer disputes and open cost estimates.
- Enter orders and send acknowledgments if necessary.
- Participate in customer visits and trade shows at the request of the Sales Manager as required.
