Job Responsibilities:
Technical Support & User Services:
- Optimized and maintained network infrastructure, servers, and endpoints, improving system uptime and reliability.
- Partnered with external vendors to resolve complex technical issues, reducing downtime and support costs.
- Oversee Microsoft 365 environment administration including user account management and security policies.
- Enhanced collaboration and knowledge sharing by managing SharePoint Online environments and document systems.
- Configure user permissions, site structures, and workflow automation.
- Ensure system backups, updates, and security patches are applied consistently.
- Deliver first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond promptly to user requests and resolve technical problems efficiently.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of IT equipment including setup, configuration, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Maintain detailed documentation of support requests and resolutions.
Security & Compliance:
- Monitor Bitdefender EDR and other security tools to detect, analyze, and respond to potential threats or incidents.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures in alignment with ISO 27001, Cyber Trust Mark, and NIST standards.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular security assessments, leveraging Bitdefender EDR insights, and recommend improvements to strengthen defences.
Project Participation:
- Support IT projects including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
- Create user guides, technical documentation, and training materials.
- Participate in vendor evaluations and technology planning initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of IT support, SharePoint administration, Microsoft 365 suite, IT & Cybersecurity policy experience, network troubleshooting in a public listed and/or chemicals companies preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong analytical thinking.
- Good communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams and vendors.
- Microsoft certifications (Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, or Dynamics 365), ITIL Foundation or other IT service management certifications, Security certifications (Security+ etc.) preferred.
