We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our team as the first line of support for our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide internal IT operations support for hardware, software, and IT services.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for internal stakeholder platform-related issues.
- Respond promptly to incidents and service requests, escalating when necessary, and provide clear status updates to stakeholders.
- Support software installation, upgrades, license compliance, and patch management.
- Maintain accurate asset management records (equipment, licenses, user accounts).
- Perform user account management including but not limited to creation, resets, and deletions
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacement, warranty claims, and repairs.
- Support local server administration to facilitate updates, distributions, and system stability.
- Monitor and report on service levels, documenting configurations and operational procedures.
- Ensure IT support activities align with best practices and company standards. Conduct routine operational checks and participate in annual ICT equipment stock takes.
Qualifications
- Higher Nitec, Diploma, or equivalent certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of IT support/administration experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts will be an advantage.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and common enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in IT support tools and platforms is a plus.
- Independent, resourceful, and results-oriented, with a “can-do” attitude.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
