Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Sommelier in the daily operations of the wine program, including inventory, cellar management, and wine service.
- Guide guests through the wine list with thoughtful recommendations tailored to their palate and menu selections.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and presentation of all wines.
- Support the front-of-house team with wine pairings and service etiquette.
- Participate in regular tastings, training sessions, and supplier visits to expand wine knowledge.
- Contribute to maintaining a seamless and gracious guest experience at every touchpoint.
Job Requirements:
- A strong interest in wine, with some prior experience in hospitality or beverage service preferred.
- Warm, professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Available for evenings, weekends, and public holidays (flexible shifts for part-time applicants).
