Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Management Trainee to join our fast-paced fast food restaurant team. This role is designed to prepare individuals for a leadership position by providing hands-on training in various aspects of restaurant management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient restaurant performance.
- Learn and apply company policies, procedures, and standards for food preparation, customer service, and health and safety.
- Supervise and support team members during shifts to maintain smooth workflow.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and stock control.
- Participate in staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor sales and financial performance, contributing to revenue growth.
- Support marketing promotions, special events, and sales initiatives. Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
Experience and Skills:
2-3 years of successful operational management experience in a F&B operation. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Basic math and accounting skills and strong analytical/decision making skills are needed; demonstrated achievement in staff selection, coaching and development.
Physical:
Must be able to work in any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized point of sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
