[What the role is]
You will be part of the Development Management team responsible for the development of gardens, parks and infrastructural projects in the National Parks and Gardens Cluster.[What you will be working on]
You will oversee and manage a diverse team of consultants and contractors throughout the planning, design, construction, and post-construction phases of projects. The role involves leading the end to-end development process, from initial concept and feasibility studies through to final delivery and handover. In this role, you will collaborate closely with relevant authorities, project teams and will be involved in engagement with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression, compliance with all regulatory requirements and deliver high quality projects on time and within budget.
Your duties will also include managing project budget, cashflow, preparation and calling of tenders and contract administration through to post-completion including finalisation of accounts of construction projects.
[What we are looking for]
Areas of study in Architecture, Landscape Architecture or Engineering.
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in managing construction projects preferred.
Strong knowledge in design, construction processes, and regulatory requirements.
Self-motivated team player, responsible and resourceful with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Adaptable and able to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
