Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives in our freight forwarding division. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, a strong network, and a proven track record in driving revenue through innovative logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market share in air, sea, and land freight services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and key account acquisitions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, pricing, customer service) to deliver tailored logistics solutions.
- Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions with clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare and present business proposals, forecasts, and performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Strong understanding of international trade, Incoterms, customs regulations, and multimodal transport.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
