Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) project works , ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and supervise teams of engineers, coordinators, and subcontractors across Electrical, ACMV, Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary disciplines.
- Review, approve, and provide direction on design drawings, materials, method statements, and work procedures .
- Conduct project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring , ensuring adherence to cost, time, and quality targets.
- Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities to resolve technical clarifications, ensure smooth approval processes, and manage documentation including as-built submissions.
- Provide leadership in identifying and resolving site discrepancies, defects, and design issues , coordinating closely with Structural and Architectural teams.
- Oversee procurement strategies and cost control in collaboration with the Commercial Department.
- Drive implementation of quality, safety, and environmental standards across project teams.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical competency and professional growth.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, HVAC, or equivalent Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 7–8 years of relevant experience in M&E project management, including at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role .
- Proven track record in managing large-scale MEP projects (building, infrastructure, or industrial sectors).
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Codes of Practice and local authority submission procedures.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management tools (AutoCAD, MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent recognition will be an advantage.
