Job Purpose:
- Drive growth of the assigned product portfolio by acting as a technical and market liaison between regional stakeholders, customers, and headquarters.
- Leverage market insights, customer engagement, and technical expertise to support business development and product innovation.
- Explore new opportunities and translate innovative ideas into tangible solutions that address market needs and advance organizational goals.
Major responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Regional Country Managers, Sales Teams, Distributors, and End Customers to support business growth and expand CHINT market presence for the assigned product portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers alongside the commercial team, identifying opportunities for product innovation to address customer challenges and new application areas.
- Monitor industry trends and gather market intelligence, including competitor activity, to inform product development strategies; provide actionable guidance and orientation to HQ R&D teams based on field insights.
- Deliver comprehensive failure analysis and regular feedback to headquarters to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide end-to-end technical support, from pre-sales to post-sales, for regional customers, including onsite assistance. Conduct product training sessions for distributors, end-users, and internal teams to enhance technical proficiency.
- Represent the company in commercial and marketing events by delivering engaging presentations, workshops, and seminars to customers.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a technical role supporting sales, training, service, failure analysis and/or marketing activities.
- Strong expertise in VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), Soft-Starters, or Automation products, including installation, EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), power quality mitigation, on-site commissioning, PLC programming, and HMI configuration.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage customers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Proactive, customer-focused, and results-driven approach.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese is essential to collaborate with our Chinese colleague and counterpart in China.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently on short notice.
