Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience with one or more optical technologies such as client transceivers, optical metro, long-haul Dense Wave-Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems, or submarine systems.
- Experience in programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in building and maintaining software services, tools, and automation frameworks for analyzing and troubleshooting Internet Protocol (IP) and optical networks.
- Knowledge of IP or optical network technologies (e.g., routing protocols, IP addressing, DWDM, Optical Transport Network (OTN), etc.).
- Ability to write SQL scripts, query data structures, and extract network and diagnostic information.
- Ability to analyze business processes and provide data-motivated recommendations for optimization.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with others through data-motivated insights.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of network deployment strategies, from initial planning to final delivery.
- Drive technical direction and roadmaps, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to lead projects.
- Design and build automation and tooling to improve the speed and reliability of network deployments.
- Advocate and implement best practices in software development, focusing on enhancing quality and performance.
- Provide ongoing support for automation systems and build upon existing infrastructure to create a comprehensive deployment automation stack.
