The Night Business Director will lead and oversee the bar and beverage business segment across all 1-Group outlets, driving growth, profitability, and brand positioning in the nightlife and beverage space. This role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who understands bar operations, beverage trends, mixology culture, and nightlife consumer behavior, while also having the commercial acumen to scale revenues and enhance customer experiences.
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
- Develop and implement the overall night business strategy for all bar and beverage operations across outlets.
- Drive revenue growth through innovative beverage programs, signature cocktails, seasonal promotions, and curated nightlife experiences.
- Analyze business performance, sales trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth.
- Manage P&L for the night business segment, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
Brand & Concept Development
- Position 1-Group as a leader in the premium lifestyle nightlife scene in Singapore.
- Curate and elevate beverage menus that balance creativity, cost-efficiency, and brand identity.
- Work closely with outlet GMs, bar managers, and marketing to conceptualize themed nights, guest bartender collaborations, and beverage events.
- Stay ahead of global trends in mixology, beverage innovations, and nightlife culture.
Operational Excellence
- Standardize and elevate service quality and bar operations across outlets.
- Implement SOPs for bar management, beverage preparation, inventory control, and compliance.
- Optimize supply chain, vendor relationships, and beverage costing.
- Ensure licensing, regulatory, and safety compliance for all night business operations.
Partnerships & Marketing
- Work with marketing to strengthen brand positioning through storytelling, PR, and digital presence.
- Develop partnerships with premium alcohol brands, distributors, and event collaborators.
- Drive brand activations, sponsorships, and exclusive experiences to attract high-value customers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in the F&B, nightlife, or hospitality industry.
- Proven success in managing multi-outlet bar or beverage operations.
- Strong commercial acumen with P&L management experience.
- Deep knowledge of mixology, bar culture, and evolving consumer drinking trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Ability to balance creativity with financial discipline.
- Strong network in the alcohol, beverage, and nightlife industry is a plus.
