Stovve Foods (S) Pte Ltd is looking for a reliable and experienced Packing Supervisor with kitchen experience to lead our packing operations. The successful candidate will oversee a team of packers, ensuring that all food products are accurately labelled, meet strict quality standards, and are packed efficiently for shipment. This role will also involve hands-on support with protein and vegetable preparation, marinating tasks, and close coordination with kitchen and logistics teams.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, operational efficiency, and an unwavering commitment to food safety and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily packing operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
- Train, guide, and monitor packing team members to ensure consistent performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform final quality checks and ensure proper labelling of all packed items.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to manage workflow.
- Maintain an organized, sanitary, and safe work environment.
- Support inventory management by tracking packing materials and reporting stock levels.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement process improvements.
- Ensure timely completion of orders and liaise with logistics teams for smooth dispatch.
- Lead and participate in safety briefings and training programs for team members.
- Maintain accurate records of packing activities and report to management regularly.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in food packing or kitchen operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to uphold high-quality standards.
- Must have good Microsoft Excel skills and be proficient in other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team player.
- Physically fit; able to stand, bend, and lift items throughout the shift.
- Valid Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate is required.
- Familiarity with inventory tracking and basic food production processes is a plus.
