Master of Arts in Translation and Interpretation (MTI) Programme at NTU is seeking passionate and experienced part-time lecturers to join our faculty. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in teaching the practical aspects of heritage studies, as well as the multicultural and multilingual translation of museological content related to Singapore.
The lecturer’s responsibilities include designing the course syllabus, delivering lectures, overseeing assessments and grading, mentoring students with academic and professional consultations, supervising students on their projects and assignments, and providing constructive feedback to support student learning.
Requirements:
- A master’s degree or higher in a relevant field
- Strong academic or industry experience in heritage and museum studies, with a focus on multilingual and multicultural perspectives of Singapore
- Prior experience in teaching and curriculum development in higher education is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a co-teaching curriculum
