As we continue to grow and expand our business, we are seeking a capable and proactive Personal Assistant (PA) with a finance background to support our MD in day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to serve as the Personal Assistant to the MD , providing both high-level administrative support and assistance on financial matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of business and finance, possess excellent organizational skills, and maintain the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the MD and internal/external stakeholders
- Review and summarize financial reports, budgets, and business proposals
- Assist in monitoring company cash flow, invoicing, and financial performance
- Coordinate board meetings, prepare minutes, and track action items
- Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Undertake special assignments and projects as directed by the MD
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a PA or executive support role
- Strong financial literacy and familiarity with accounting documents and financial terms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Highly organized, resourceful, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive information
Preferred Qualities
- Prior experience working directly with senior management
- Background in engineering, marine, or construction industry a plus
- Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders
