Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Coordination: Directing and coordinating the work of piping personnel, including subcontractors, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
- Quality Control: Ensuring piping work meets quality standards, conducting inspections, and coordinating with QC personnel for necessary tests like hydro-testing.
- Safety Management: Enforcing safety regulations, conducting toolbox meetings, and ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Progress Monitoring: Tracking daily progress, identifying potential problems, and reporting to relevant parties like the Piping Lead Engineer or HOD.
- Material Management: Overseeing material procurement, ensuring correct materials are used, and managing material take-off (MTO).
- Documentation: Preparing reports on daily progress, material usage, and any issues encountered.
- Interpretation of Documents: Understanding and implementing drawings, specifications, and other relevant project documents.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicating with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
