PLANNING MANAGER
This position directly reports to General Manager and is responsible for production planning and customer service functions. This is a leadership position with an integral element of hands-on approach to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction standards are achieved.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement processes to ensure high standards for customer responsiveness.
- Manage planning and customer service team to ensure smooth day to day operations.
- Lead capacity and production planning function.
- Responsible for capacity & production planning, materials management, and scheduling.
- Responsible for project planning support to customers and response to customer’s enquiry timely.
- Lead daily production meetings to ensure issues are resolved in timely manner to ensure on time deliveries.
- Manage Buyer/Planner on subcontract machining activities to level load the plant.
- Manage subcontract machining vendors on time delivery.
- Ensure customer service process orders timely and accurately in ERP system and perform timely order acknowledgement to customer.
- Provide monthly revenue projections.
- Develop and implement best practices for area of responsibility.
- Responsible to coach, train and develop staff for career growth.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry
- Bachelors / Diploma Engineering or relevant experience in planning
- ERP exposure is a must
- Knowledge of machining process in an Oil and Gas Industry is an advantage
- A good team player, highly energetic and with a make it happen attitude
