As a Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of our WWTP facility. You will play a critical role in ensuring the process runs smoothly, equipment is well-maintained, and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Interfaces
1. Plant day to day operation (24/7), planning, budget, documentation, manpower arrangement and managing the overall plant activities;
2. Lead the team of shift operator;
3. Schedule the plant operation activities without affecting the client’s operation;
4. Liaise with the client maintenance team for planned maintenance activities without affecting plant operation;
5. Plant HSE;
6. Prepare and submit the documents as per requirement(Daily, monthly and based on the requirement) for those reports;
7. Ensure all the operation data are correctly recorded and updated accordingly in the plant’s log book and computerised system.
External Interfaces
1. Liaise and communicate with Client and fulfil the requirements of the O&M contract;
2. Communicate with clients for plant O&M and HSE matters.
Essential Skills
1. Knowledge about industrial water/waste water treatment technologies;
2. Microsoft office/Google workspace skills;
3. Know the good industrial practices on Plant operation management/Asset management;
4. Laboratory and analytical skills with regards to water industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environment Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Plant Engineer or in a similar role within a WWTP environment.
- Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
