About the role
This full-time Presales Engineer (Virtualization) role at VSTECS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD.' is located in the Lavender Central Region. The role is responsible for providing pre-sales support and technical solutions to drive growth and success for the company's virtualization products and services.
What you'll be doing
- Understanding customer requirements and mapping them to appropriate virtualization solutions
- Conducting product demonstrations and proof of concepts to showcase the capabilities of VSTECS' virtualization offerings
- Collaborating with the sales team to develop tailored solutions and provide technical expertise
- Staying up-to-date with the latest virtualization technologies, trends and industry developments
- Providing post-sales support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Preparing technical proposals, presentations and documentation to support the sales process
What we're looking for
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a presales or technical sales role, preferably in the virtualization domain
- Excellent understanding of virtualization technologies, including VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft Hyper-V
- Strong technical skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, customer-friendly explanations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with customers at all levels
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and address customer needs
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
