Job Description:
- Plan, assign, and direct work to a team of engineers and or technicians in the management of assessment, maintenance, repair and overhaul of various automotive engines, transmissions, axles and powerpacks.
- Lead and oversee contracts / projects, providing technical direction and ensuring alignment with the company's policies and industry regulations.
- Prepare relevant presentation decks / aids and conduct presentations in various meetings for internal and external stakeholders such as Customers, Management and other Partners, etc.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development.
- Conduct analysis, simulations, and testing to address technical issues and propose appropriate solutions.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and recommend innovative practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and protocols throughout all phases of work.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on system design and maintenance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and innovatively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to converse with diverse stakeholders.
- Leadership experience or a passion for mentorship is highly desirable
- Possess a profound understanding of mechanical / automotive components, with a strong emphasis on innovation and problem-solving.
- Track record of successfully managing complex projects and mentoring engineering teams.
- Able to thrive in a collaborative setting and are committed to excellence in your work.
