- Adhere to the overall project timeline and workflow set by the project team.
- Provide feedback on professional design methodologies and standards.
- Train and guide fellow project mechanical engineers, assistant engineers (AEs), and drafters to collaborate effectively.
- Analyze and resolve project-related issues within the scope of mechanical engineering responsibilities.
- Report on project design data, including object quantities and technical parameters.
- Participate in and provide updates during project and departmental meetings.
- Complete assigned tasks related to project drawings and documentation in a timely manner.
- Prepare and review marine machinery and piping calculations, specifications, and vendor drawings.
- Prepare and review 2D arrangement drawings and schematic designs for marine machinery and piping systems, including submission materials.
- Develop and review 3D models and related production/site support drawings for marine machinery and piping systems.
- Provide technical support to the Project Section Lead on mechanical engineering issues.
- Coordinate effectively with shipyards, consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Report to the Mechanical Project Section Lead and Mechanical Technical Lead.
- Handle various types of projects, including new builds, repairs, upgrades, and conversions.
