- Develop, execute and support metrics of the Professional Education strategy across the country in line with the company's overall objectives.
- Foster and execute strategic partnerships with industry associations, academic institutions, eye care professional research groups, business owners, senior management, key customer accounts, and influential opinion leaders to shape the professional landscape and elevate primary eye care standards in the market.
- Enhance internal capabilities by ensuring that appropriate technical and clinical training, knowledge transfer, and assessments are conducted across cross-functional departments.
- Design and implement curriculum and training programs centered on the technical education of professionals who promote and recommend Johnson & Johnson Vision Care’s products, ensuring correct usage for sustainable business and market growth within the profession and practice.
- Contribute to the creation of professional education toolkits, communication materials, and training curriculum to effectively position Johnson & Johnson Vision Care’s products.
- Assist in the completion of clinical studies, trials, and publications, and provide briefing for independent speakers to support new product launches and related events/projects.
- Undertake other professional development projects and tasks assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- At least 2 years and above of experience in the optical/optometry industry
- Optometry qualification is required
- Higher qualifications or extensive experience in contact lens practice is an added advantage
- High-level computer skills or the ability to acquire them swiftly
- Technical, clinical, or research experience is a plus
- Proven ability to demonstrate strong business acumen
- Must be willing to travel extensively – out in field within Singapore
