Job Description
As a Technical Project IT Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the technical team, operations, and clients. Your responsibilities will include procurement coordination, project documentation, proposal writing, and ensuring smooth communication across teams. You will support the CTO and Technical Lead in managing enterprise and government IT integration projects, ensuring compliance, clarity, and efficiency in execution.
Occasional on-site visits may be required to assist in hardware deployment, testing, or setup at client locations.
Responsibilities
- IT Projects: Client, Vendor and Development Coordination
- Review and compare hardware/software quotations, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Liaise with vendors for procurement, delivery, and warranty tracking.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets for projects.
- Project Coordination & Documentation
- Assist CTO/Tech Lead in project planning, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise & government contract requirements.
- Prepare proposals, reports, and presentations (PPT/Canva) for stakeholders.
- Technical & Operational Support
- Conduct basic IT equipment setup & testing (workstations, servers, network devices).
- Act as a bridge between operations and technical teams, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the CTO's office and Project Management, ensuring strategic alignment and clear communication of technical constraints and opportunities
- Document meeting minutes, action items, and project updates.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Present technical details in a clear, structured manner for clients and teams.
- Follow up on project milestones, risks, and deliverables.
Required qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business IT, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in IT project coordination, procurement, or technical support.
- Experience in systems integration (hardware/software) for enterprise/government projects is a plus.
- Technical Skills
- Familiarity with IT hardware procurement (servers, networking, security devices, etc.).
- Hands-on ability to test, configure, and deploy basic IT equipment (workstations, networking devices, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PPT, Excel, Word), Canva, and project documentation tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong written & verbal communication for proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational & multitasking skills to manage multiple projects.
- Keen attention to contractual details (govt/enterprise agreements).
- Other Requirements
- Ability to document meeting minutes, action items, and follow-ups effectively.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites for deployment/testing.
