Role Summary:
Project Specialist for a tech client's social team in APAC. You'll manage campaign execution, linking senior stakeholders with the social team. This role requires a proactive self-starter who excels in project delivery, stakeholder management, and driving innovation across owned, paid, influencer, and employee advocacy efforts.
Role:
- Manage the end-to-end project delivery of social media campaigns across APAC, including timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
- Act as the primary liaison between senior stakeholders and the social team, ensuring clear communication and seamless project flow from brief to delivery.
- Own the creative briefing process for social content, internalise stakeholder needs, and work with the social team/external agencies to develop fit-for-social and on-brand assets.
- Manage the social content editorial calendar, ensuring all activities are fit-for-market, meet local needs, and capture local nuances.
- Exercise due diligence and preserve the sanctity of the client’s brand for all forms of social media delivery, be it copy, creatives, or other forms of engagement.
- Maintain a proactive and strategic approach to project management, identifying areas where processes can be optimised to achieve better business outcomes.
- Review and report on content performance and project learnings, proactively sharing best-in-class practices and competitive intelligence with stakeholders.
- Pitch fresh, innovative ideas to drive engagement and business outcomes for the region.
- Stay abreast of social media trends and platform updates to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
You:
- A degree in business, communications, or marketing and equivalent industry experience are preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in account/project management or related roles within a social media, tech, or marketing environment.
- Solid experience in budget, timeline, and expectation management for complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven ability to positively influence diverse stakeholders and build trust and rapport across teams.
- Strong understanding of the social media landscape, with a keen eye for what makes great work social by design.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently lead projects from planning to delivery with minimal supervision.
- A strategic and creative thinker who can navigate an ever-evolving digital landscape and bring both order and attention to detail.
- Experience with social media publishing and project management tools like Sprinklr.
- Passionate about working as part of a larger team to deliver on a common goal, with a hunger for driving innovative work.
- Experience in the B2B technology space or with demand generation activities is preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills, and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects across APAC.
