Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform dimensional, appearance, and functional inspections of sheet metal parts, welded parts, and assembled finished/semi-finished products according to drawings and inspection standards.
- Regularly audit the production site to monitor adherence to process discipline and correct any production and inspection practices that do not meet process specifications.
- Identify and isolate non-conforming products discovered during inspection and promptly report to superiors.
- Able to independently resolve general quality issues arising during product inspection.
- Able to independently complete inspection reports, organize and analyze inspection data, and provide a basis for quality improvement.
- Assist QE in resolving and preventing quality issues, providing improvement suggestions and preventative measures.
- Issue and collect defect feedback forms and manage records.
- Accurately, promptly, and completely record quality inspection data, and submit daily quality inspection reports and related quality inspection data records on time
- Follow up on changed parts, following the instructions of the change form
- Participate in quality inspection and analysis of unexpected quality incidents occurring during production and submit relevant quality analysis reports.
- Support all training programs by development and implementation of specialized training sessions for all applicable functions.
- Provide trend analysis of defects occurring at the customer, supplier and internally.
- Participate in the vendor survey activities as applicable.
- Drive proactive participation with suppliers and (when possible) aid in their process improvement efforts.
- Monitor departmental activities and provide technical and logistical guidance/support for the quality engineering staff as applicable.
- Interface and provide technical support on quality issues with the customer as needed.
- Support and focus corrective action efforts and utilizing the SPC data and corrective action tracking package and create and implement any meetings, procedures, or team-building concepts as necessary as part of the corrective/preventative effort.
- Serve as liaison between Jabil Circuit and suppliers or customers on quality related issues.
- Improve technical support for the quality organization.
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
- Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required and two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of experience in sheet metal quality assurance inspection, familiar with sheet metal processing techniques such as stamping, cutting, bending, press riveting, draw/pull riveting, welding, electroplating, and assembly.
- Able to understand mechanical drawings, proficient in the use of various measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and angle rulers, to accurately measure the true dimensions of parts.
- Positive attitude, responsible work ethic, meticulousness, and a strong sense of quality.
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
- Proficient in Thai and English (spoken and written)
- Able to draft emails, meeting notes, and basic reports in both Thai and English
