Job Description:
Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and execute regional HR strategies aligned with global business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management and change management.
- Drive HR initiatives that support business growth, operational efficiency, and employee engagement.
Leadership & Culture Development
- Champion the organization’s leadership principles & overall culture within Asia Pacific.
- Drive initiatives that build strong leaders at all levels of the hierarchy within Asia Pacific.
- Act as a cultural ambassador for Leading@arvato in Asia Pacific.
Talent Management & Development
- Lead regional talent acquisition, onboarding, and succession planning.
- Design and implement training and development programs to upskill employees and foster leadership growth.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and performance excellence.

Financial & Cost Management
- Responsible for the HR regional budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
- Identify and drive efficiencies in HR operations and services.
Payroll & Compensation
- Oversee payroll operations across all regional entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure compensation practices align with local regulations and company policies.
- Manage regional compensation benchmarking and benefits strategy.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with labor laws and regulations in Singapore, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and China.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues and support a positive work environment.
- Lead internal audits and risk assessments related to HR operations.
HR Operations & Systems
- Coordinate, support and develop local operational HR teams in each country
- Optimize HR processes and systems for scalability and efficiency.
- Leverage HR analytics to inform decision-making and track key performance indicators.
- Continuous improvement of core People KPI’s such as illness, attrition & time to hire and the elimination of process waste Drive digital transformation initiatives within HR.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of HR leadership experience in a 3PL or logistics environment .
- Proven experience managing HR functions across Singapore, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and China .
- Strong knowledge of regional labor laws, payroll systems, and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Flexibility for reasonable travel within the region.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, BIPO).
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) is advantageous.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Experience being part of a M&A project, PMI.
