The Regional Retail, Etail & OEM Partnerships Channel BDM is responsible for generating and winning new opportunities with both new and existing partners across Retail, eTail, OEM, and Consumer Channel Partner networks—ultimately expanding ESET’s home user base within the digital ecosystem.Job description
What you will do:
Strategy & Execution
Design and execute regional growth strategies to expand services revenue across B2B and B2C segments.
Align service sales objectives with broader business goals and APAC market needs.
Translate global priorities into actionable go-to-market plans tailored for local markets.
Partner Development
Identify, onboard, and activate high-potential channel partners (Retail, Etail, VARs, MSPs, OEM).
Lead client acquisition and nurture strategic accounts to uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Build trusted relationships with key partners and customers across APAC.
Performance & Pipeline Management
Own the full services sales pipeline in APAC—drive demand, manage forecast accuracy, and follow through on opportunity closure.
Analyse lost opportunities, propose countermeasures, and ensure a healthy, scalable pipeline.
Track KPIs and performance metrics; deliver insights and recommendations to leadership.
Market Intelligence
Conduct regional market mapping and gather end-user/partner feedback on evolving service needs.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities in the APAC region.
Provide strategic input into product/service localization and enhancements based on market feedback.
Regional Representation
Represent ESET Services in external events, partner summits, and customer meetings.
Deliver compelling presentations and service value propositions to drive engagement.
Collect customer testimonials and identify candidates for Gartner Peer Insights and other review platforms.
Enablement & Training
Identify training needs and coordinate services sales enablement for the APAC sales teams.
Act as the subject matter expert and internal evangelist for cybersecurity services.
Support the creation of localized tools, content, and pitch materials to empower partner-facing teams.
The successful candidate should have the following -
Experience
10 years of experience in retail channel management, partner development, or a similar role, ideally with software products
Act as the subject matter expert and internal evangelist for cybersecurity services.
Experience in managing and leading sales team min. 3 years.
Knowledge
Strong understanding of the retail channel dynamics and ideally experience working with small retailers/resellers on local market.
Demonstrated track record of successfully recruiting, developing, and managing retail partnerships that resulted in revenue growth.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop effective channel strategies.
Demonstrated track record of successfully leading, managing and coaching retail sales team.
This APAC-based role is a key enabler in that mission, working closely with global and regional teams to develop the services strategy, drive partner success (resellers, MSPs, OEMs and retail/e-tailers) and building partnerships, growing revenue streams in the region.
