The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking Research Associate to join a university-level research centre collaborating with industry. The position is for two years, renewable subject to satisfactory performance. Successful candidates will be involved in a project that is related to 3D Content Generation. The key responsibilities include the following:
- To independently undertake research in computer graphics and machine learning.
- To produce research reports and/or publications as required by the funding body or for dissemination to the wider academic community.
- To provide guidance and support to any students associated with the project.
- To attend, contribute, and where necessary lead relevant meetings.
- To undertake any other duties relevant to the programme of research.
Job Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science;
- Have a solid foundation in the following areas: Computer Graphics;
- Publication records in computer graphics conferences/journals, such as SIGGRAPH, CGI, CAVW, etc.;
- Knowledge of scientific or engineering software like PyTorch, Taichi, etc.;
- Demonstrate outstanding communication skills, clear logical thinking, and willingness to learn.
