Job Description
Responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen, toilets, and back-of-house facilities, in compliance with workplace safety and hygiene standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise dining areas, kitchen areas, toilets, and other facilities
- Wash and store dishes, cookware, and utensils as required
- Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors and work surfaces in all assigned areas
- Remove and dispose of waste and rubbish in a safe and hygienic manner
- Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and consumables when required
- Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning agents in accordance with safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Supervisor
- Follow instructions from the Supervisor or Manager to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Comply with all workplace safety, health, and hygiene regulations
Requirements
- No formal qualifications required; training will be provided
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning and manual handling tasks
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive working attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
