Roles & Responsibilities:
- Tasks will involve garnering product and curriculum knowledge, marketing, communication, sales presentations, working closely with the Sales Manager
- Manage various responsibilities, including overseeing retailer submission grids, liaising with distributors, and organizing events
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers
- Identify and pursue sales leads, with a particular focus on online and distance learning opportunities.
- Report on results and analyst data
- Negotiate trading terms with customers, including distributors, key accounts, academic institutions, public libraries and potentially corporate sales
- Provide insights into the changing needs of customers, especially purchasing decisions, pricing models and any other challenges than may hinder sales.
- Evaluate and analyse the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns to ensure sales teams are fully supported in adapting to the evolving print and eBook industry
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with initiative with energy
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience in the book industry would be advantageous, but not a requirement
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
