The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth within the assigned territory by engaging both existing and potential customers. The role involves promoting and selling instrumentation products – primarily to clients in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries. The Engineer will also prepare technical presentations, provide tailored solutions, and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Promote a range of instrumentation products (valves, filter regulators, gauges, cleaning products) to customers in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors.
- Service existing accounts and proactively develop new business opportunities.
- Provide technical consultation and propose suitable product solutions to meet customer needs.
- Stay up to date with product features, applications and benefits.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities independently.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations and demonstrations.
- Review customer enquiries and prepare quotations by referencing past proposals and liaising with engineers and internal stakeholders.
- Gather and report market intelligence, including competitor activities and market trends.
- Contribute to overall team performance and meet assigned sales targets.
Qualifications Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of industrial sales experience.
