Objectives of the Position
As part of the global Key Account Management organization, you will execute sales activities aligned with the global key account strategy to achieve agreed sales volume, pricing, and selling cost objectives.
Main Tasks
Customer Management
- Responsible for sales, managing and retaining
theexisting accounts - Responsible for business development of new accounts and new products with the existing customers to grow overall market share
- Maintain direct contact with key customer personnel, collaborate with customers and internal functions to resolve problems.
- Prepare periodical forecast reports and business plans timely.
- Closely monitor the status of each account to ensure all accounts are settled timely and highlight any foreseeable credit risks to the management and finance.
- Ensure all business proposals and quotations are well prepared on time and price negotiations are planned and conducted in the best interest of company.
Account Strategy
- Build comprehensive understanding of customers’ and competitors’ activities as well as market information of the business sectors/segments
- Develop and implement key sales strategies and market programs to retain existing accounts and develop into new markets for business growth
- Constantly updating market intelligence to be equipped with latest knowledge of market trends, technology developments, customers, and competitors’ activities/position in the market.
- Provide inputs on pricing structure according to market price trends, customer consumption analysis, sales terms and conditions, customer profiles to ensure the highest profitable margin
- Evaluate monthly, quarterly and yearly business performance of each account to keep track of the sales performance and contribution margin achieved
- Support sales management in preparing annual Operational Planning and sales plan for the coming years
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, marketing, business admin or other related field
- 3 years’ relevant working experience in Chemical or Semiconductor sector as Sales
- Ability to work independently, good stakeholder management skills.
- Strong ability to communicate and engage with external customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge of SAP & Salesforce.
- Part of the customer portfolio would be companies with Headquarters in Taiwan. Knowledge of mandarin is essential.
