1. Strategic Sales Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and process skid systems.
- Identify new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline in key industries (e.g., oil & gas, power plants, EPC contractors, OEMs).
- Lead tendering and proposal development, including pricing, technical clarifications, and commercial negotiation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, plant owners, procurement teams, and engineering firms.
2. Technical Sales Support
- Understand customer specifications and process requirements to provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to prepare design concepts and cost estimates for custom-built equipment.
- Conduct technical presentations and site visits when needed.
- Liaise with QA/QC and project management teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
3. Marketing & Branding
- Plan and manage marketing initiatives such as exhibitions, trade shows, webinars, product brochures , and industry directories .
- Develop digital marketing materials and manage the company website and LinkedIn page with industry-relevant content.
- Position the company as a reliable partner through targeted branding in niche industrial segments.
- Gather market intelligence and monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and new technologies.
4. Customer Management
- Maintain customer databases and manage opportunities.
- Track and report on sales metrics, lead conversion rates, and proposal win/loss ratios.
- Follow up with clients post-project for feedback, referrals, and repeat business.
5. Leadership & Coordination
- Manage and mentor a small team of sales engineers or marketing assistants.
- Coordinate closely with design, procurement, and production teams to align delivery schedules with client expectations.
- Participate in regular management meetings to present forecasts and market trends.
6. After-Sales and Account Expansion
- Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-ups and coordination with service teams.
- Explore upselling opportunities, such as spare parts, performance upgrades, or long-term service agreements.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Engineering or technical background preferred (Mechanical/Chemical/Process Engineering).
- Experience in industrial sales of custom-designed process equipment or similar capital goods.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, heat duty specs, or mechanical drawings is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM software, and marketing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Ads, AutoCAD exposure is a bonus).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages in ASEAN region advantageous.
