Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Workforce Planning: Develop and execute long-term workforce strategies that align with our business objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to model staffing needs based on demand forecasts, seasonal trends, and growth projections.
- Forecasting & Capacity Planning: Lead the design and implementation of accurate workload forecasts while managing capacity planning across multiple departments and sites.
- Scheduling & Resource Management: Oversee the creation of efficient and fair schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation to meet service level targets and drive cost efficiency.
- Real-Time Management: Spearhead real-time decision-making processes, implementing tools and processes that enhance agility and responsiveness.
- People Leadership: Manage and mentor a talented team of WFO Analysts, Planners, and Coordinators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Technology & Process Optimisation: Evaluate and optimise workforce management tools like UKG & Team Planner, driving automation and innovation within WFO processes.
- Reporting & Insights: Deliver actionable insights through performance reports and dashboards, presenting findings to executive stakeholders to inform strategic business decisions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Operations, HR, IT, and Finance to align workforce strategies, acting as the subject matter expert in workforce optimisation.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in coaching, influencing, and building strong relationships with senior business leaders across organisational boundaries.
- Background in Hotel Operations with an understanding of working across multiple time zones and diverse cultural environments.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong grasp of change management processes, principles, tools, and methodologies.
- Ability to analyse HR and financial data, diagnose trends, and link insights to business performance outcomes.
- Ideally experience in working with Workforce optimisation systems eg UKG
- Prepared to spend over 50% time on travel to our EAPAC Hotels
