Senior Project Manager in construction
Job description:
1. Provide detailed constructability reviews of project documents.
2. Manage day-to-day work on projects in construction phases; coordinate and make
recommendations regarding status of work.
3. Attend and actively participate in partnering sessions with contractors, agencies,
and organizations to obtain feedback on company performance and effectiveness;
represent the company needs.
4. Represent the company in reviewing contractor requests through formal or informal
processes, and provide prompt responses to keep projects on schedule.
5. Review and monitor project work to ensure that progress is within expected
guidelines and is completed on time and within budget.
6. Review and provide recommendations on potential Change Orders on projects
and process per contractual requirements, providing detailed analysis of impacts
to the company budget and schedule.
7. Regularly review project schedules, analyze and monitor construction progress to
determine impacts to schedule and provide feedback.
Requirements:
1. The related certificates from BCA. Can work in shifts and at weekends and public holidays.
2. at least 8 years in construction management or related experience in construction projects.
3 . Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external resources.
4. Self-directed and able to function with ease as part of a team.
5. Technically astute and strategic in thinking.
6. Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication
skills.
7. Ability to focus on details as required, and have the ability to work well within a
deadline driven environment.
8. Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
9. Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Office tools, and some knowledge
of applicable project management software
10. Fluent in English and Mandarin
