About the Role
We are looking for a Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Sales & Distribution processes and proven experience in the Manufacturing or Beverage industry . The consultant will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP SD solutions, ensuring smooth integration with other modules, and delivering measurable value to business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SD solutions across end-to-end business processes (order-to-cash, pricing, rebates, billing, credit management, returns, consignment, and intercompany sales).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Drive SAP SD process optimization, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and business goals.
- Provide functional expertise in Manufacturing or Beverage industry-specific processes (e.g., batch management, rebates/discounts, route-to-market models, and distribution channels).
- Partner with cross-functional teams (MM, PP, FICO, WM, and CRM) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Conduct workshops, training, and knowledge transfer sessions for business users.
- Support SAP upgrades, enhancements, and migration projects (ECC to S/4HANA).
- Lead testing, documentation, and cutover activities, ensuring smooth go-live.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of SAP SD functional experience, with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
- Strong domain expertise in Manufacturing or Beverage industry processes.
- Hands-on experience with pricing, rebates, taxation, route-to-market models, and integration with MM/PP/FICO.
- Solid knowledge of S/4HANA capabilities and experience with SAP SD in S/4HANA environments.
- Strong understanding of master data (customer, material, pricing, condition records) and their impact on downstream processes.
- Exposure to global rollouts, localization, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management, client-facing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead junior consultants.
Good to Have
- Experience with SAP GTS, SAP CRM, or SAP Settlement Management.
- Knowledge of beverage industry-specific solutions (e.g., sales promotions, distribution rebates). SAP certification in SD or S/4HANA Sales.
