COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Located on Jurong Island, the petrochemical hub of Singapore, SRC operates a refinery that is capable of processing 290,000 barrels of crude oil per day to produce fuel products and chemical feedstocks that are supplied to domestic markets and overseas export markets under the brand labels of its shareholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assume challenging and yet satisfying responsibility of developing optimal, realistic product plans to maximize margin capture. Develop Oils Plan for major shutdown and Turnaround as part of our commitment to be a reputable fuels supplier.
- Identify, Propose and Implement Process Improvement and/or Capital Investment projects to enhance refinery current and future capability to meet the current and future demands of the fuels market.
- Collaborate with internal and external shareholders to explore and develop strategies enabling niche product market capture in exploiting market opportunities.
- Schedule products, ship movements and manage inventory to ensure optimized asset utilization and reliable supply of products into key local and export markets.
- Support refinery sustainability strategy through developing and implementing plans to utilize existing and/or new assets to achieve short-to-long term energy transition goals.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- At least 1-2 years' experience in petrochemical or oil refinery industry.
- Fresh graduates may be considered for entry-level positions and will receive relevant training to be successful in the role.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Commercial planning and scheduling skills with software knowledge are desired.
- Comfortable with MS Excel, programming, data visualization and/or data analytics techniques.
- Self-Motivated, Team player who is able to work independently.
