Join our innovative team and play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing sophisticated software and hardware systems for next-generation medical imaging products. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll leverage your C# expertise to drive GUI development, system integration, and advance our product roadmap.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain current GUI software for our flagship microscopic imaging products.
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing new features, resolving complex bugs and ensuring robust system integration across hardware components
- Create and maintain comprehensive engineering documentations adhering to good documentation practice (GDP) and regulatory standards including IEC 62304, ISO 13485 and ISO 14971 throughout the product lifecycle
- Design and develop core software, system features or new products alongside our cross-functional team (Hardware, QA, Regulatory, Product Management), directly contributing to the product roadmap
- Perform hands-on system configuration, buyoff testing, commissioning/decommissioning, verification, calibration, service, and maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and minimum operational downtime
- Provides advanced technical training/support and diagnosis for complex hardware/software issues to internal teams, partners or customers Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering or computer science, or equivalent disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in programing, product development, and system integration.
- Expert proficiency in C#, Open VC, GitLab, and image processing for developing GUI applications and integrating with hardware components
- Demonstrated understanding of the product lifecycle and regulatory compliance requirements per GDP, ISO 13485, IEC 62304 and ISO 14971
- Strong hands-on engineering skills in troubleshooting, machine configuration and setup, project planning and management
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and document meticulously
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to work effectively and independently with minimum supervision
- Willingness and ability to travel (<30%) as required for product support or project collaboration
