Job Objectives
To ensure correct and timely dispatch of goods in accordance with goals and strategies
Job Responsibilities
- Booking of shipments of customers’ orders
- Issuance of invoices and relevant shipping documents
- Arrangement for shipments being executed according to Satair’s policies and/or the customers’ shipping instructions
- Submission of shipping details to customers
- Updating/maintenance of shipping database re customers’ shipping instructions
- Inform relevant customer interfacing functions/colleagues about potential deviations to agreed transport/shipping agreements
- Maintain accurate records of all relevant documents
- Perform shipment booking according to order priority
- Control of and booking of freight invoices
- Ensure releasing of shipments to forwarders correctly
- Strong ability to manage multiple ERP systems and processes across different business units
- To pass DG course and carry out DG declaration for outbound shipments
Job Requirements
- Preferably able to work in different shift patterns
- Inexperienced Higher Nitec and Diploma graduates will be considered.
- Be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
- Experienced working with ERP system, preferably SAP
- Ability to handle multiple ERP system
- Good knowledge about freight forwarding industry and incoterms
- Candidates with knowledge and certificate to issue "Dangerous Goods" documents will have an added advantage
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural team with good teamwork and eye for details.
- Be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Basic IT skills
- Knowledge of Lotus Notes tools
- Familiar with work-related routines under Satair’s ERP system
- Good knowledge about PC Doc and various freight forwarder systems
- Good knowledge about transport/shipping. Hereunder INCO-terms
- If required, knowledge of and certified to issue “Dangerous Goods” docs and freight handling of same
