Job Purpose
The Site Cleaning Manager is responsible for overseeing all cleaning operations at an assigned site, ensuring that services are delivered to agreed standards, on time, and within budget. This role involves supervising cleaning staff, coordinating schedules, managing supplies and equipment, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight
Plan, organise, and supervise daily cleaning operations at the site.
Ensure all cleaning activities comply with company standards and client requirements.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality and safety. - Staff Management
Supervise, train, and motivate cleaning staff.
Assign duties and manage work schedules.
Monitor performance and provide feedback. - Client & Stakeholder Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client regarding site cleaning matters.
Address and resolve service issues promptly. - Inventory & Equipment Control
Maintain adequate cleaning supplies and equipment.
Ensure equipment is used properly and maintained in good working order. - Compliance & Safety
Enforce workplace health and safety policies.
Ensure compliance with relevant cleaning and sanitation regulations. - Reporting
Prepare reports on site operations, staff attendance, and quality checks.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Minimum Degree or equivalent (higher qualification preferred).
- At least 2–3 years of experience in cleaning services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Experience managing a team and handling client relations.
Other Requirements:
- Physically fit to handle site inspections and occasional hands-on cleaning when required.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays if site operations require.
