Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer (A1 Maincon/Industrial Project) to join our project team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in building and construction projects , particularly in industrial developments . You will be responsible for overseeing site activities, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Oversight:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities in accordance with project specifications and drawings.
- Provide technical guidance to subcontractors and ensure proper construction methods are followed.
- Monitor work progress and resolve technical issues that may arise on site.
2. Reporting:
- Maintain detailed and accurate site records including daily progress reports, site photos, and inspection reports.
- Report to the Project Manager on site activities, progress, delays, and any issues that may impact timelines or cost.
3. Quality and Safety Assurance:
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with quality standards , design specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor safety practices on site and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Coordinate and conduct site inspections with consultants and authorities as required.
4. Contractual Requirements:
- Ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the contract documents , including scope, specifications, and standards.
- Support the Project Manager in tracking variations, verifying claims, and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to address and close out technical queries or disputes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering , Building Engineering , or other building-related disciplines .
- Min 2 years of relevant experience in building and construction projects , preferably with exposure to industrial developments (e.g. factories, plants, warehouses).
- Strong knowledge in construction methods, building materials, and site management practices.
- Experience in technical supervision , reporting, and quality and safety assurance on construction sites.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
