Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage activities at contract manufacturing sites (as assigned)
- Support, maintain, and enhance production test systems and equipment
- Develop and implement robust processes and procedures for product calibration and testing
- Analyze test data, identify failure trends, and drive root cause analysis with corrective actions
- Ensure test systems meet quality, safety, and reliability standards
- Lead or support projects of varying scope to introduce or improve manufacturing methods
- Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and specifications
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure smooth product transitions
- Contribute to achieving key performance metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity)
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Mechanical Engineering
- 5–10 years of relevant industry experience, ideally in test engineering or manufacturing support
- Experience working across electrical and mechanical domains
- Proficiency in analog and digital circuitry and test methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to root cause analysis
- Excellent data analysis skills , with knowledge of statistical tools and techniques
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated project leadership or team coordination experience
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work well under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel 25–50% for manufacturing support at regional or global facilities
